Both of these can usually be found on a sticker on the pin box or the kingpin itself. A pin box number is usually three or four numbers long and can have letters attached to it. One of Lippert's most common pin box numbers is 1621. Another is 1716, and another is 1116.

It is possible that over time this number disappears (strange how that happens, right? ), so you may not be able to find it anymore. The trailer manufacturer may be able to cross-reference your pin box number with the VIN number of your fifth wheel if they are still in business. Otherwise, there's still another way to find out what your pin box number is so you can replace it.
