AIS Antenna with Supplied "L" Bracket & 66' Coax Cable
The Automatic Identification System (AIS) is a monitoring system of naval traffic, useful for navigation safety with difficult meteorological conditions (fog or nocturnal navigation). The AIS system operates on 2 expressly dedicated VHF channels (161.975 and 162.025 MHz) and allows the user to receive real time information about the traffic in the surrounding area.
ELBA AIS is a 3dB gain AIS antenna designed for Sailboats: it is 38” in length and is very easy to be installed thanks to the supplied “L” bracket. With its black strong fiberglass whip and integrated 66’ RG58C/U coax cable, it’s the best choice to have stable AIS performance under any navigation conditions.
