Taps in RV sinks can pull water directly from your fresh water tank with a pump or allow water from an outside tap (source). The fresh water tank has a limited water supply and it is important to ration water during stints without water hookups.

In an RV, counter space in the kitchen is not easy to come by at all because of the limited space. It doesn’t make it easier either to have such limited prep space when cooking.

However, all these limitations in an RV kitchen do not take away much of the fun in cooking and enjoying the food.
